Where to Park at Tampa TPA Airport for Global Entry Interview

  • Which Parking Lot to Choose: you should park in the Short Term Garage, which is on levels 4-9 directly above the Main Terminal which is where the Global Entry office is. The parking is covered and there is elevator access to reach the Main Terminal below (go down to Arrivals & Baggage Claim level). If the Short Term Garage is full, you can alternatively park in the Long Term Garage which is adjacent to the Main Terminal and only a short walk away, and also costs the same amount as the Short Term Garage.

  • Reserve a Parking Spot: while you can reserve a parking spot in the Long Term Garage, the minimum time you can prebook is 12 hours, which will cost you more than taking your chances to find a spot on the day. Usually there is good availability and so we don't recommend reserving in advance.

  • How Much does Parking Cost: both the Short Term and Long Term Garages are free for the first hour. If you park for between 60-80 minutes then it'll cost $4, and $2 for each 20 minutes thereafter. You'll likely only need an hour in total to complete your Global Entry interview. Check the Tampa airport parking website for the most up-to-date information & pricing.
